KWIK FIX ARGUMENTS FOR KWIK FIX MARRIAGES
On occasions we hear one-liner arguments to defend mutah, like cartoon characters who make us laugh by their one liners! But these one-liner do not hold much water when you examine them carefully. It is, therefore, no point throwing a one-liner sentence or phrase to defend mutah without looking at how valid it is in the face of all the evidences against mutah. Let us look at some one-liner and phrases thrown at you.

LIST of one liners
1. The Imams did not do mutah because they all had four wives and, therefore, they got enough pleasure from them. Hence they did not need to do mutah.
WHAT IS IGNORED BY THIS ONE LINER
Mutah is regarded as a mustahabat or 'good' things and those who do it are regarded as 'blessed.' Hence, to say that since the Imams drew enough pleasure from the wives there was no need to do mutah goes against all the logic of mutah that it is 'sawab' to do it. Why would an Imam forego the sawab when they are not allowed to do tark e awla which means they are not allowed to forego a good thing?
Secondly, Imam Hassan (as) had a wife who poisoned him. Many Imams spent their lives travelling and did not take their wives with them. Imam Ali spend many months on travel both in the days of the Prophet and after wards. Imam Musa Kazim (as) had women sent to him but did not do it etc. All these facts show that mutah was not even in their minds.
Furthermore, we know Imam Ali (as) married when he was in his mid twenties. But he was not with any woman before that. Surely, if mutah was valid then he should have done with anybody. This despite the fact that women were widely available in those days and it was a stigma not to be with a woman until that age. The same is true do the Nabi Muhammad (as).
All these facts go against this one-liner but the people who throw this type of statements often do not care of the truth. All they want to do is defend what they are unable to relinquish.
2. Mutah is necessary for widows who get desperate for sex but nobody wants to marry them.
WHAT IS IGNORED BY THIS ONE LINER
This is one of the worst excuses for mutah. It starts with an insult on widows who are depicted as being more in need for kwik fix sex than for a lasting loving relationship. Secondly, it may that a married woman whose husband cannot satisfy her may also be desperate for sex. So what about her?
And to argue that you will give 'charity' to a widow by doing mutah with her is a contradiction as you will just put put more baggage on her and complicate her life even more. In fact, widows who do mutah find it more difficult to find a good man as no good man would want to marry a woman who is available for temporary fix on sex.
Lastly, to say widows are desperate is ignoring how desperate you are! The truth is that widows are vulnerable because of their stigma and economical hadships they face. Hence, they are seen as 'available good' for men and hence a logic is created to open the door to access their bodies after their husbands have died. Truly shameful!
3. Mutah is for a youth and their sex problems
WHAT IS IGNORED BY THIS ONE-LINER
But middle aged men have more sex issues than the youth as proven by the fact that most sex abusers of children are grown men! And the youth cannot be given access to drugs, fast cars or sex when they have problems. They need to learn self control, self respect and respect for others. They need to mature and learn the value of relationships. These comes from their culture, peer belonging and from good values taught by religion. All this are amiss in the present climate and even the shia community is so socially bankrupt that the youth dont have a chance but to go for it! A very sad fact that fathers and mothers of young boys and girls need to reflect on.
One important thing we need to learn from Sikh Youths is that they are taught that all women except for their wives are their sisters. They are told wives are part of your souls. But in our version of Islam we are given the idea that all women are easy and wives are prisoners who need to be controlled by putting a hijab on them. With ideas like this we have given a bad name to both Islam and to Hijab.
4, You dont do it if you dont want to, but we will.
WHAT IS IGNORED BY THIS ONE-LINER
This one liner was thrown at me when I challanged a mullah on TV that the Quran does not have 'mutah' mentioned anywhere. After that they cut my phone and would not recept it again.
So I wrote to them saying that this is similar to saying that if you do not want to drink alcohol or to do child abuse then dont it .... Needless to say I have had no reply!
5. Mutah is not prostitution
WHAT IS IGNORED BY THIS ONE LINER
Who says it is not prostitution when narrations exist in shia books saying that Imam Jaffer E Sadik said that it for prostitutes!
In any case, if a woman can contract her body for sex then it is prostitution or mistresshood. There is no getting away from this fact.
The second fact is that prostitution comes in many guises - Mutah is a religious guise!
